BSRIA is a test, instrumentation, research and consultancy organisation, providing specialist services in construction and building services, including water in buildings. The BSRIA research programme aims improve building services and construction and to apply new technologies, techniques and processes.
BSRIA provides consultancy and best practice guidance to help contractors and operators of buildings comply with the control of legionella bacteria legislation and to ensure water quality. BSRIA has published several renowned guides to legionellosis including risk assessments and log books.
Much of BSRIA’s expertise is derived from in depth laboratory based research into water treatment, and in particular control of legionella.
As an independent company, BSRIA has no vested interest in any particular water treatment product or technique, and will recommend the most appropriate solution for buildings and systems.
