Water Framework Directive (WFD): FWR hosts The Information Centre, a central source of information about the Directive. It helps a wide range of interested parties understand what the Directive involves and raises awareness of how it will lead to an even cleaner and healthier water environment. The objective is to complement the activities of the key organisations, such as government and the environment regulators, which are closely involved in the implementation of the directive.
